Online casinos have been booming for years, but have never been as big as they are today. Although you might not have played in one, these cyberspace casinos are the innovation of the future and are only getting more popular as time goes on. If you’ve found this page, you probably want to know what they’re all about, and all the benefits that are involved.

Look at an online casino like this, it’s simply a more convenient way for you to play all the games you love at that land based casino. It costs less, can be done twenty four hours a day and seven days a week, after work there is no drive to get there, for non-smokers your home is a smoke-free atmosphere, and that’s just to start. With so many benefits we imagine you’ll be ready to play after reading this article.

If you are wondering what an online casino has to offer in terms of the games it’s nothing different from the land based area. Obviously there isn’t any holding cards if poker is the game of choice, but Caribbean stud, Let it Ride, and Three card poker are all at your disposal to play. Maybe the table games like roulette and craps are more up your alley, both available with casinos online.

Then of course, the millions of slot machine lovers out there, online casinos have so many to choose from they’ll keep you busy for a long time. All denominations are available, and bigger jackpots compared to land based casinos. Why? Most of it has to do with the ridiculous amounts of money that revolves around casinos online and the money that can be made.

Speaking of money, earlier we talked about how an online casino costs less and for many of you that probably didn’t make sense. See, at your local casinos a minimum ante can be from $5-$15 depending on what day of the week you play, and barring any special offers. If you play online and want to play card games the ante is $1. That’s it, in craps, to play the pay line costs $2 and roulette varies depending on the company.

This can translate into several things to only help your current situation. For instance, it could cost $100 to play ten hands of blackjack, where if you were in an online casino it could run around $10. That’s a big difference at the end of the day and a great way to think about it when playing. Especially for those that want to go more than once a week to the local casino.

It’s a great learning curve to experience as well. Let’s face it, when you first start playing in an online casino there are a plethora of games you can learn to play. Maybe there has been one that you just won’t touch at the casino because your knowledge of how to play the game is minimal. Craps is a huge turn on to players online because it helps teach them how to play.

The fast paced game that you see in your local area can now be slowed down so you can figure out all the rules. Plus, if you want to understand it through free play you can, and then move to the real money in an online casino that costs one fifth of what it would in your casino near home. Then when you feel more comfortable, take your game to the local arena and see how you fair.

Granted, gamblers are some of the most superstitious people in the world, bringing pictures and materialistic things to bring them good luck. We’re saying if it hasn’t worked for you offline, why not try a different route. Online casinos have the same odds as the regular ones and in some games, even better ones. Maybe playing it this way will be the change you need.

These are only some of the benefits to help you adjust to an online casino. We understand it’s something new, it’s something you aren’t quite accustomed too, and change is never easy. However, it is the wave of the future and if you want to ride the wave, hop on, we’ll help you out along the way.

Did you know that …

... the first mechanical slot machine was the Liberty Bell, invented in 1895 by car mechanic, Charles Fey (1862-1944) of San Francisco?

The Liberty Bell slot machine had three spinning reels. Diamond, spade, and heart symbols were painted around each reel, plus the image of a cracked Liberty Bell. A spin resulting in three Liberty Bells in a row gave the biggest payoff, a grand total of fifty cents or ten nickels.

The original Liberty Bell slot machine can still be seen at the Liberty Belle Saloon & Restaurant in Reno, Nevada.
