Slot Machine Strategies – Do They Exist?

Let’s start with the most fundamental truth of the slot machine that most people still do not know; there are absolutely no 100% sure win strategies, so how could it even exist? No human beings on Earth have the ability to predict or change which way the reels spin or stop for every time the game is played. If a person ever tells you that he/she knows a sure-win solution or strategy for slots, he/she is most probably delusional. But fret not as there as still guides to help people like you and me to make the most out of our money at the slots.

The first step to making the most out of your money is to find out the type of slot machine that you are (or already are) going to play. A handful of people think that slot machines are all the same, but the answer to that is a definite no. The slot machines come in numerous variations and each machine has its very own detailed set of rules to follow in. So, it is still a great idea to read the posted rules on the machine first before you even start to put your money into it.

The second step is to determine your limits before you start playing the slots. Before you start playing, you must definitely have two very important limits set in place. One of the limits is your losing limit, the amount that you are comfortable in losing. Set that amount, and stick to it at all cost. It is not common for people to lose money in the casino very quickly, so please be careful whenever you place a bet in the machine; do not ever cross your set limit.

And as for the second limit which I am going to explain, it is the spin, typically with four or more spins. If the machine does not pay you a good rate at all, it is wise to start looking around for another machine. Find the next best paying machine and repeat the set limits. But please bear in mind that if you lose a lot, it definitely isn’t a sign that you are going to hit the Jackpot soon, because every spin that you make is a random spin.

The third guideline will be a little obvious, but still a truckload of people have fallen victim to this without even knowing it. Do not ever leave a machine if it does not pay you what you spent on it. It is not weird that a slot machine might run out of coins even before it finishes paying you your deserved winnings. If this kind of situation does really happen, sit tight and call for an attendant at once. An attendant will definitely arrive within minutes. Do bear in mind that even if you insert another coin in the same machine without being fully paid, you will delete any evidence that it still owes you money. So, it’s best to always get an attendant to come assist you before you continue playing on the same machine.

Did you know that …

... the first mechanical slot machine was the Liberty Bell, invented in 1895 by car mechanic, Charles Fey (1862-1944) of San Francisco?

The Liberty Bell slot machine had three spinning reels. Diamond, spade, and heart symbols were painted around each reel, plus the image of a cracked Liberty Bell. A spin resulting in three Liberty Bells in a row gave the biggest payoff, a grand total of fifty cents or ten nickels.

The original Liberty Bell slot machine can still be seen at the Liberty Belle Saloon & Restaurant in Reno, Nevada.
