In the world of poker one of the unforgettable names is Phil Gordon. Rather known as the nice guy of poker. As of 2007 this poker player’s winnings has exceeded $1,600,000. Though this poker player has not yet achieved any bracelet but still he is one of renowned tiger in the jungle of poker. He started his original race from the year 2001. On that year he snatched the fourth place in the World Series of Poker Championship event and he won $400,000. Phil Gordon made two final tables and got the sixth position in Pot Limit Hold’em and third position in Omaha 8/Better.
Phil Gordon get attracted to sports journalism in the year 2003. He analyzed the WSOP Championship Event for Binion’s live internet broadcast. Along with that, he used to report for a national radio audience in a daily basis. Two players were knocked out by him in the year 2004 and he conquers the WPT’s “Bay 101 Shooting Stars” tournament. This poker player went across six continents and fifty countries. He has been to the islands of Zanzibar where he swum with the white sharks. He has climbed almost half a kilometer of Mount Kilimanjaro. With the Land Cruiser he ran over 20,000 kilometers in Australia. Phil Gordon knows how to live life king-size.
