Live blackjack TV is yet another one of those variants of live TV casino. This is basically similar to the game of blackjack that everyone knows about: the only difference there is between them is the location. Traditional blackjack is played on a physical table with a limited number of people. Live blackjack TV, however, is done in the comfort of your own home.

How to Play Live Blackjack

Live blackjack TV is very simple to play. You simply hold your cards and keep calling some in until the total value reaches as near to 21 as you can dare. The objective of this game is to simply beat the dealer’s hand. You don’t have to worry about beating the other player’s hands, so this does not require strategic thinking on your part. All you have to do is know how you would risk taking in a card when your hand is already near to 21 like, say, 18. You have to be careful in this because, if you exceed 21, you are burned.

You can reach 21 even with the initial two cards you are given by the dealer. The face card and ace card combination is the best hand to hold in the game. This is the “blackjack” combination, which automatically guarantees you a win.

How does one calculate value? It’s very easy. Here are the values of each card that you receive in live blackjack.

– Face cards, like the King, Queen and Jack, are worth 10 points.
– An ace is worth two values: one or eleven. Choose between these at your own discretion.
– All other cards are counted as they are.
– All values are irregardless of suit.

Bets

Bets are important to playing blackjack. Without a bet, you will not be eligible to play live blackjack. Bets determine your earnings after every game, so you can see what it is.

There are three winning ratios that live blackjack TV adheres to. These ratios determine how much you actually win in every game of blackjack. These ratios are:

A blackjack will earn you a winning ratio of 3:2. This is the highest winning ratio in the game.

If you are closer to 21 than the dealer, you win the equivalent of the amount that you bet.

A draw will cause your bets to be returned to you or carried over to the next game at your option.

There is also an insurance bet which has a winning ratio of 2:1.

Live blackjack TV actually contains limits as to how much you can bet when you play the game. This varies from casino to casino, and you should check the FAQ page of the online casino in order to know these values. This way you can see if the limits suit you.

Why Play Live Blackjack TV?

This is the biggest question that most people who don’t know anything about live blackjack TV ask. What exactly are the advantages of live blackjack TV over the traditional casino, or even the web-based computer-operated blackjack games? Here are some of these advantages:

You don’t have to leave your home

With live blackjack TV, you don’t have to worry about availability of clothing or even the weather. You can play the game when you want to as long as there is no power outage in your area.

Betting is secure

You don’t have to deal with real cash when playing live blackjack TV. You only need your credit or debit card to do it. This is much safer than having to carry large amounts of cash to and from the casino.

Did you know that …

... the first mechanical slot machine was the Liberty Bell, invented in 1895 by car mechanic, Charles Fey (1862-1944) of San Francisco?

The Liberty Bell slot machine had three spinning reels. Diamond, spade, and heart symbols were painted around each reel, plus the image of a cracked Liberty Bell. A spin resulting in three Liberty Bells in a row gave the biggest payoff, a grand total of fifty cents or ten nickels.

The original Liberty Bell slot machine can still be seen at the Liberty Belle Saloon & Restaurant in Reno, Nevada.
